Who we are
Goodwin Brothers Lawn Care (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a local lawn care business serving Battle Mountain, Nevada. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website and customer portal at goodbroslawn.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. You can reach us anytime at [email protected] or at 775-530-2745.
What we collect
When you book a job, create an account, or message us, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your service address(es) and details about your property
- Messages and photos you send us through the portal
- Records of the jobs we do for you and the invoices we send
- Payment records (handled by our payment processor — see “Payments” below)
You give us this information directly when you use the site. We do not buy personal information about you from other sources.
How we use it
We use your information only to run the business and serve you:
- To schedule and perform your lawn care jobs
- To send you invoices and receipts
- To message you and answer your questions
- To send you notifications about your bookings, messages, and payments
We never sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use a few trusted service providers to run the site. They only handle your data to provide their service to us:
- Clerk — secure account sign-in and authentication
- Stripe — online card payment processing
- Resend — sending emails (confirmations, invoices, receipts)
- Cloudflare — our database and photo storage
- Vercel — website hosting
We may also share information if required by law. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties.
Payments
Online card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number is entered directly with Stripe and is never stored on our systems. We keep a record of your invoices (the amount, date, and whether they were paid) for our accounting and tax records.
How long we keep it & deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from your customer portal. When you do, we erase your personal information — your profile, messages, photos, and property details.
Because the law requires businesses to keep financial records, we retain your paid invoice records in an anonymized form (with your personal details removed) for the period required for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. The quickest way to delete your account is from your portal; for anything else, email us at [email protected].
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in to your account (set by our sign-in provider, Clerk). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tracking.
Children
Our service is intended for adult customers (18 or older, or with a parent or guardian's agreement). The business itself is operated by minors under the supervision of their parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children as customers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
